We started using the call tracking technology from Response Tap over 2 and half years ago, when the company first started as AdInsight. We use it for both our own website and many of our PPC clients.
The best part of the system is the ability to create a goal in Analytics and import that back into AdWords, so you can determine which keyphrase or ad generated a call. This allows us to do call optimisation at a low cost and helps to determine which keyphrases are working even when users do not complete online forms.
Interestingly, as a avid user ourselves; we find that some of the other features very insightful - this includes missed call alerts and use of static numbers in email or other offline advertising.
We would recommend ResponseTap's call tracking system; the technology is great, it is very cost effective compared to some other systems and the team are always really friendly and helpful.
