Tracking

Q: Why should I track calls using ResponseTap?
A:
ResponseTap is not just a call tracking service like most available systems; it tracks the leads and sales generated from each individual ad as well. This data can then be used to identify underperforming ads so you can maximize your marketing budget.

Q: How does rtap-insight track visitors?
A:
It uses asyncronous loading JavaScript and first party cookies to track how a visitor interacts with your website which enables us to report on repeat visitors and their multiple touch points.

Q: What data does rtap-insight collect?
A:
rtap-insight collects a range of data from every visitor and phone call, including; call duration, talk time, wait time, geographical origin, time and date of call, call status (answered, missed, engaged), caller ID, search phrase used, visitor path, referrer, landing page and much more.

Q: Can rtap-insight track an unlimited amount of keywords?
A:
Yes, rtap-insight will automatically track every single keyword used through to a phone call, as long as the keyword is not removed from the referrer (i.e. when visitors use Google’s encrypted search feature).

Q: Can rtap-insight track non search related traffic like emails and affiliates?
A:
Yes, unlike most other call tracking services, rtap-insight will track every online traffic source, not just search related traffic. This makes it an absolute must for companies with a diverse range of marketing activities. In fact, rTap Insight can even track offline advertising.

Q. What types of telephone number are available with ResponseTap ?
A.
We can provide geographic and toll free numbers.

Q. How many phone numbers will I need?
A.
By using multiple tier one and two telecommunications partners, ResponseTap are able to give you as many phone numbers as required. Phone numbers are automatically added to your account as they are needed.

Q. Are rtap-insight compatible with my existing hardware and telephone systems?
A.
Yes, rtap-insight requires no additional hardware and transparently forwards phone calls to your existing call handling system.

Q: Do I need additional phone lines?
A:
No, the ResponseTap tracking numbers simply redirect to one of your existing phone lines, so you don’t need any additional phone lines.

Q: I have a traditional phone line; will I need to upgrade it to use ResponseTap?
A:
No, ResponseTap can link into any phone system, so no hardware upgrades are necessary.

Q: Do I need to invest in additional hardware or software?
A:
No, ResponseTap services run on our servers and link in seamlessly with your existing telephone infrastructure and does not require any software installation on your end.

Q. How easy is rtap-insight to set up?
A:
. Set up can be done in less than 10 minutes.  ResponseTap will provide you with some JavaScript code which needs to be installed on every page of your website. Once set up your account will then automatically configure itself based on the marketing activity it tracks.

Q: How much does it cost?
A:
Our pricing structure is built with scalability in mind and start at 25c per call with a minimum of 400 calls per month (minute charges not included). Contact us for a tailored cost estimate based on your requirements.

Integrations

Q. Can ResponseTap integrate with other software, such as web analytics tools, CRMs and bid management systems?
A.
Yes, ResponseTap can integrate with most online solutions. Google Analytics and AdWords integration is already built in, and other software programmes can be easily accommodated. We are always adding technology partners to our portfolio, contact us for full details.

Q: How can we export the data for use in our own system?
A:
ResponseTap provides the data for you to export by CSV, API and URL Callback for real time data transfer.

Q: Do you offer training?
A:
ResponseTap has been designed to be as user friendly as possible, however we do offer additional training if it is required. Simply contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

Q: How long does it take to analyze the data provided by ResponseTap?
A:
Not long at all, ResponseTap has been designed to show you the most important data instantly in our user friendly interface, so you can quickly determine what to do next when it comes to marketing your business.

Q: How do I cancel an existing account?
A:
Please send an email to the support desk This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it detailing the account name for your rtap-insight account, and unless specified we will take the date of receipt of the email and cancel your after your contractual notice period.

ResponseTap's call tracking products are used by companies to understand the customer interaction between the website and the call centre. Three cookies are used by ResponseTap to help demonstrate this journey so the business can improve their customer experience.

These cookies are used to help the ResponseTap call tracking products to collect information about how our visitors use our website.  We use the information gathered to compile reports that help us to understand how people interact with our business.  The cookies store unique identifiers that allow ResponseTap to track a visitor's progress through our website over time.


The following has been detailed for further clarification on the individual cookies:

'adiV'
The adiV cookie contains an identifier which is used by ResponseTap to track a visitor over time. This allows ResponseTap to show multiple visits made by a customer over time from the same browser.  This cookie is set to expire 1 year after the visitor leaves the website. 

'adiVi'
The adiVi cookie contains an identifier which is used by ResponseTap to help track a visitors path while they are on the website. This cookie is set to expire 30 minutes after the visitor leaves the website.

'adiLP'
The adiLP cookie is used to help track visitors who have multiple tabs open in the same browser to prevent errors in tracking.

'adiS'
The adiS cookie persists for the duration of your browsing session and is a standard way of linking together user-created data between clicks.
