How does online tracking work?
ResponseTap call tracking uses an advanced proprietary solution to track exactly what each visitor is doing on your website and when they pick up the phone to call you. The setup is very easy and only takes about 15 minutes to complete. Read more about how ResponseTap works.
Once you have added the provided JavaScript code to your website, ResponseTap will automatically start to change the telephone number shown to each website visitor. How does offline tracking work?

Tracks sales & leads
With ResponseTap you are able to provide feedback on every call, by both flagging it as a lead and rating the lead with a score from 1 to 9, or by logging a sale and entering the sales value. This process is done at the end of the call once your customer hangs up and the information is simply entered using the telephone keypad, so there are no additional hardware or software requirements.
Any information provided at the end of the call is logged in real time against that call, so you can quickly determine which advertising sources are generating the best quality leads and sales.

URL call backs
ResponseTap’s URL call back feature is designed for advanced users and allows you to request (load) a specified URL (webpage or image) with various data about the phone call. The webpage can then be programmed to do a range of functions, such as storing the data in a database, sending out specific emails, integrating with other online solutions like web analytics providers, or making a light flash in a room. The possibilities are almost endless.
This feature can be enabled at the start of a call and/or at the end of the call depending on what information is required.

Setup is fast and easy
Getting started with ResponseTap couldn’t be easier; the first time you log into your account you will be shown a setup wizard which takes about 15 minutes to complete. Once completed you will be given some JavaScript code to place on your website.
